Buongiorno lovers of la dolce vita!

My name is Anne, I’m originally from the Netherlands but a couple of years ago I decided to move to Rome in pursuit of my own “Operation La Dolce Vita”.

One thing I knew for sure: I truly wanted to emerge myself into the local Roman life, and I’m proud to say I did! Most of my friends here are Italian. They own vineyards and restaurants, are singers, videomakers, journalists and photographers. Mainly thanks to them, I got to know the best of Rome: I’ve eaten the best food and seen the most stunning places. Bellezza – or beauty – is one of my biggest inspirations, and I can’t wait to share it with you.

I’ve also lived in Naples for two months where I studied at a language school. Moreover, I’ve traveled all over Italy. There are only a few Italian regions I haven’t visited yet, and I’ve got to know Italian locals in almost every big city who always give me the very best tips that I’m delighted to pass on to you.

I have my own blog and I share my Italian life on Instagram (@annecheama), so for the very best photo spots in town, I got you covered too.

Let me help you to plan your trip, and navigate through complicated Italian transport websites, so you can fully focus on your own Operation La Dolce Vita.
