When friends/family visit I like to

Take them to visit some of my favorite spots in Rome: the Forums from a little- known backview; the Portico d'Ottavia; Michelangelo's Piazza del Campidoglio; the angels sculpted by Bernini on Ponte Sant'Angelo with Castel Sant'Angelo in the background; the Teme di Caracalla at dusk; the Appia Antica on a Sunday... I have a long list of magical places.

Former UN employee and former travel writer.

I am a sculptor, a dancer, and a Qigong and Taiji instructor in training.

Favorite music/movies

I love music and I particularly enjoy Latin jazz, African and Hawaiian music. My favorite movie genre is science fiction, fantasy, but also mysteries, psychological and martial arts movies. 

In my free time I like

I sculpt, meditate, practice Taiji and Qigong, read, listen to music, dance, and study languages (I'm currently on German and Chinese). When I can I go for a hike or a bicycle ride .

I’m a third culture kid, grew up abroad, love traveling and discovering / exploring new cultures. As a former travel guide writer I’ve quite a bit of experience addressing different audiences. I love showing people around and suggesting things they would enjoy.
